Warning:
1. The engine must be turned off when using this device and operate it in a ventilated area.
2. Do not smoke or light a fire near the operation zone.
3. Do not spill the injector cleaning liquid on hot engine parts.
4. Wear rubber gloves and goggles when using this device.
How To Operate:
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Remove the wire plug of the injector to be tested, and then connect the two pulse output terminals of the device to the injector.
3. Then connect the RED clip to the Positive terminal of the 12V car battery and the BLACK clip to the Negative terminal of the 12V car battery.
4. Remove the original cap of the cleaning liquid bottle, put on Cap/Hose Kit instead. Connect Cap / Hose kit to the quick connector. Then connect the injector to Hose Adapter (3 sizes available, choose the proper one), fasten the connection with proper Hose Clamp.
5. Press the " Set Mode " key to select the desired pulse signal output mode. The green LED light is on when the currently selected mode is on.
The different modes are explained below:
Ø Mode 1: Single pulse mode. In this mode, when the " Pulse/Stop " key is pressed, the device will emit a pulse with a pulse width of approximately 255 milliseconds.
Ø Mode 2: Short pulse mode. In this mode, when the " Pulse/Stop " key is pressed, the device will send out 50 pulses with a pulse width of about 7 milliseconds.
Ø Mode 3: Long pulse mode. In this mode, when the " Pulse/Stop " key is pressed, the device will emit 100 pulses with a pulse width of approximately 3.5 milliseconds.
Ø Mode 4: Continuous pulse mode. In this mode, when the " Pulse/Stop " key is pressed, the device will continuously output pulses. The pulse rate is about 50 pulses every 1450 milliseconds, and the pulse width is about 7 milliseconds. Press the " Pulse/Stop " key again to pause the pulse output.
6. After selecting the desired pulse signal output mode, press the " Pulse/Stop " key, and the device will output pulses to the injector to be tested. When the pulse is output, the Green signal indicator will light up. Press the Red Cap to spray the cleaning liquid to clean the injector.
7. After the test is complete, if you want to repeat the test, please press the " Pulse/Stop " again.
8. During the test, if you want to change the pulse mode, please wait until the Green signal indicator goes off, then press the "Set Mode" key to select the desired pulse signal output mode.
Note:
l After the test is complete, press the "Set Mode" button to select "Cont." mode, then press the "Pulse/Stop" button. Only after draining the liquid and pressure in the hose can you loosen the hose clamp and remove the injector and Cap/Hose from the cleaning liquid bottle. (Prevent residual liquid and pressure from splashing out.)
l The above usage scenario describes the independent use of this handheld device - cleaning and testing the injectors one by one. In addition, this device can also be used in conjunction with a desktop injector machine to complete cleaning and testing work: Firstly, fix the injector on the desktop injector machine; Secondly, connect the output pulse cable to the injector; Thirdly, clamp to the battery to be powered; Fourthly, select a test mode of the desktop injector machine, and then press the "Set Mode" button on this handheld device to select the desired test mode , press the "Pulse/Stop" key to test.
